Gale's Journey with SPIRIT OF THE ARTISAN
Gale's lifelong love of textiles began early, weaving through EVERLY chapter of her career. A former elementary school teacher, she later became the owner of "Needle Accent", a needlepoint store, and spent years as a sales representative for both needlepoint and knitting lines.
A chance vacation to Thailand sparked a new adventure: the creation of SPIRIT OF THE ARTISAN, a business that thrived for 20 years. Thailand introduced Gale to extraordinary handmade fabrics, trims, and treasures rooted in ancient textile traditions. Her exploration soon expanded to Bali where she commissioned batiks and discovered the intricate beauty of ikat weaving, along with many other hand-crafted wonders.
